The Carlos Simon Foundation held the ceremony for the first edition of the Youth Scientific Excellence Awards, an initiative created to recognize the best academic records in Science and Technology from second-year high school students in the Valencian Community.
This edition honored Ariadna Franch (IES Josep de Ribera, Xativa) and Rut Sebastia (IES Leopoldo Querol, Vinaros), who received their awards during a ceremony that featured the participation of the Foundation’s President, Professor Carlos Simon, and Dr. Inmaculada Moreno, as Director of the Education Department.
The award consists of a €1,000 prize, participation in our mentorship program, and the CSF Summer School 2026.
During the event, the awardees gave a brief talk where they shared their vision of the science of tomorrow, offering the perspective of a new generation of young scientists.
