On Friday, April 10, the University of Valencia held a commemorative event to mark its 525th anniversary, recognizing institutions that have played a key role in fostering long-standing collaboration across cultural, healthcare, educational, and research sectors.
The Carlos Simón Foundation was honored in the field of research, alongside INCLIVA, the PrÃncipe Felipe Research Center (CIPF), and the ClÃnico and La Fe hospitals of Valencia. This recognition highlights the close partnership between the University and our Foundation, built around shared projects, strategic alliances, and a common mission: to bring scientific knowledge closer to society.
Dr. Carlos Simón, President of the Foundation, accepted the distinction on behalf of the institution during the ceremony held at the university’s historic La Nau building. The event brought together representatives from Spanish and Latin American universities, university networks, museums, foundations, and leading research centers.
