Recap of Our Participation at ASRM 2024

At ASRM 2024, we had the opportunity to share our foundation’s latest research and developments in reproductive medicine.

On Sunday, October 20th, Dr. Xavier Santamaria participated in the Postgraduate Program: “AMMR and ALMER – Integration of Precision Medicine in Reproduction: From Gametes to the Endometrium”.

On Monday, October 21st, Dr. Santamaria presented an update on our CD133+ stem cell therapy as a promising approach for treating Asherman’s Syndrome. Later that day, Dr. Carlos Simon joined the Vitrolife Academy Studio, discussing individual patient treatment strategies and the influence of the endometrial microbiome on reproductive outcomes.

Tuesday featured the Carlos Simon Research Symposium, where Dr. Simon delivered a presentation on human embryonic implantation. He also announced the upcoming second edition of the RM2030 Congress, introduced the CSF Mentorship Program, and presented the Carlos Simon Excellence in Translational Research Award to Professor Dennis Lo, MD.

To conclude, on Wednesday, October 23rd, Dr. Simon presented a poster titled “Multi-omic analysis of endometrial decidualization resistance unveils a mosaic epithelial-stromal shift,” a significant finding from our research group studying maternal implications in the origin of preeclampsia.

We thank everyone who joined us. Stay tuned for more updates!
