On November 5, the Carlos Simon Foundation joined INCLIVA in celebrating its 25th anniversary as the first foundation in the Valencian Community affiliated with a public hospital.
The event took place at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Valencia and was divided into two sessions.
In the morning, during the 1st INCLIVA Predoctoral Meeting, our researchers Maria del Carmen Graciano and Sofia Zaragozano presented their PhD projects, while Dr. Ana Monteagudo shared her experience in a roundtable with emerging researchers.
In the afternoon, at the scientific event “25 Years of Science Improving Your Health”, our president, Dr. Carlos Simon, had the honor of presenting a recognition to Margarita Garin, in memory of her late husband, Dr. Rafael Carmena, who served as INCLIVA’s General Director from 2012 to 2017.
