Carlos Simon Foundation has launched a new collaboration with OWLO to validate and enhance its innovative 3D label-free imaging technology. This system enables real-time, non-invasive visualization of human embryos and detects critical developmental events with high precision. The goal is to identify digital biomarkers that may help reduce time-to-pregnancy by improving embryo transfer success rates.
OWLO is a Paris-based deep-tech company, spin-off from the Institut Langevin (ESPCI Paris, CNRS). Its patented technology integrates optical modules compatible with standard microscopes and advanced algorithms based on wave physics and artificial intelligence, enabling non-invasive, real-time 3D visualization of biological tissues. Applications include IVF, drug discovery, and ophthalmology.
